Shamanic Tools - Tepi - Jungla Santa
Kuripes are traditional tools often made our of bamboo by the Inga, Kamentsa, Siona & Kofan tribes of colombia just to name a few. They are utilized as a personal delivery pipe of the sacred Hapé medicine a blend that consists primarily of washed and refined Tobacco + Herb Allies & Ash. This fine powder blend is used to tune the Physical and Spiritual body along with cleansing and stimulating the Pineal Gland and Crown Chakras.
The Kuripes offered are created directly by the Inga Kamentsa of the Sibundoy Valley of Colombia by the most experienced Artisans, Medicine Men & Women. Each Kuripe has a beaded Hummingbird, bird associated with the air (required for delivery of Hapé) and also known as the "Heart Opener" (heart being the largest organ of a hummingbird). Kuripes are also adorned by a Natural Feather harvested ethically in the forest of the valley and added as amulet of the winged spirits.
Each individual piece is unique, varying in shape, patters and colors, carrying the energetic imprint of the ancestors who have come before us and it is Hand by Craft’s effort to create an open channel to maintain the life of this craft and act as a portal linking the Ancestral Tradition of the Native Colombian tribes showcasing with pride the crafts of our forbearers.
